Watchword for the Week

For we do not proclaim ourselves; we proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as servants for Jesus’ sake. 2 Corinthians 4:5

Daily Watchword

The Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11NKJV

Doctrinal Text

Christ Jesus came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near.  Ephesians 2:17

DOMINICA:

Come, Holy Spirit, come

let your bright beams arise;

dispel the darkness from our minds,

and open now our ears.

Prayer.

Jesus, you offer us a peace that the world cannot give. Breathe that peace upon us and let it move within us, that we may be peacemakers today.  Amen.

Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry, and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us, that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your name. Amen

The Lord says: I, even I, am the God who blots your transgressions for my own sake and will not remember your sins. Go and sin no more.
