Heavenly Father, Lord of the universe, we come to you in praise and thanksgiving for the gift of your Son and of the Spirit. You have called us to eternal life through the death of your Son. In your love for humankind, you have commissioned each of us to love one another as you loved us. We accept your command to carry out your healing love to all people. To each of us as the Spirit determines, we have received spiritual gifts to do your work and bring all people to your loving care. Amen.
