Eternal God, all creation sings your praise. Every day is a word from you. You
speak to us in quiet, even silent ways. As your Scripture is read, your good news proclaimed, and we offer our hymns of praise and offering to you, O Triune God help us to listen with the ears of our hearts; help us to hear and be created again so that we may do justice, love, kindness and walk humbly with you, in the name of Christ. Amen.

If we say we have no sin, the truth is not in us. And yet, we want to be people of truth and love. So we come to the baptismal font seeking a new start; a new day; an opportunity to join God’s work of building and planting. With confidence that God hears our prayers and loves us unconditionally, let us confess our sins.

God of covenant, you promise to write your law in our hearts, that we might be faithful people who know you and your will for us. Still we stray from your ways, we fail to tell the truth, we mirror the world around us more than the good news of the gospel, and we fail to acknowledge that you are our God. Forgive us, and your Spirit renew us.
Engrave your covenant upon us once more. Grant us courage and faith that we might begin again to live what it is we say we believe.

No longer shall they teach one another or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more. Hear and believe this good news! In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven!

We are inspired by their faith, especially when they stand alone, whether in
rearing of their children or ministering in your name in some foreign land.
Lord, we thank you for women of faith.

Thank you for the women who trusted you against the odds to be the impetus
for the building of churches, hospitals, schools and colleges. Lord, we thank you for women of faith.

Thank you for women of faith who taught us by example how to live with plenty
or little, all the while trusting you and giving you the glory. Thank you for the women of faith.

We are thankful for women whose faith never shrinks, even in times of sickness or in the valley of the shadow of death.Lord, thank you for women of faith.

We thank you for women of faith who rejoice in the hope of your glory, knowing
that they will spend eternity with you. We give you glory for women of faith.

Most holy and gracious Lord, we come before you today with grateful hearts
for the women of faith among us. Your word is replete with their presence.
Thank you for women of faith.

We thank you for women whose faith is evident in their daily walks and their
work for you. Thank you for women of faith.

We are grateful for women who serve you with great dedication in various capacities throughout the church and the world. They speak for you, they sing for you, they serve you with undaunted trust. Lord, we thank you for women of faith.
